SANVO is a professional stainless steel pipe manufacturer and exporter, supplying high-quality stainless steel pipes to global customers that meet the ASTM A312. Our ASTM A312 304/304L/316/316L stainless steel pipe elements are strictly controlled to standard. Also include pipe technologies that have stainless steel seamless pipe and stainless steel welded pipe, designed to meet industrial, commercial, and infrastructure standards. SANVO stainless steel pipes are widely used in oil & gas, chemical processing, water treatment, construction, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and electrical conduit systems.
Stainless Steel Material Grades
SANVO offers stainless steel pipes in accordance with ASTM A312 standard, featuring stainless steel grades including 304, 304L, 316, and 316L to meet various application requirements.
-
304 / 304L Stainless Steel
Excellent corrosion resistance in general environments, such as water supply, food processing, construction, and industrial piping. As long as it is not high in chlorine or acid and alkali, 304 performs very well and has a long service life.
The primary weaknesses of 304 are the presence of chloride ions (Cl⁻) and exposure to strong corrosive media. For this kind of environment, 316/316L is generally recommended.
-
316 / 316L Stainless Steel
Superior resistance to chlorides and chemical corrosion, the molybdenum content of 316 (≈ 2-3%) significantly enhances the resistance to pitting corrosion and makes it more stable. It is more suitable for coastal, saline, chlorine-containing, chemical, and sanitary environments than 304 stainless steel.
Low-carbon grade 316L stainless steel reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion following welding.

ASTM A312 Stainless Steel Pipe Standard
All SANVO stainless steel pipes are manufactured to ASTM A312, an American standard for austenitic stainless steel pipes that is widely recognized worldwide.
Each ASTM A312 stainless steel pipe undergoes strict inspection to ensure consistent dimensions, mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance required by international projects.
Manufacturing Processes of Stainless Steel Pipe
Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe
Seamless pipes are produced from raw materials used to create a round pipe blank by forming a hole through a process called broaching. The body of seamless pipe without seams can withstand high-pressure applications.
Welded Stainless Steel Pipe
Welded pipes are made from steel plates. After being rolled into a circle, they are welded into shape through the weld seam process. It is suitable for medium and low-pressure applications and can already meet the needs of the vast majority of civilian places.
Stainless Steel Pipe End Finishes
To meet different piping connection standards in Europe and North America, SANVO stainless steel pipes are available with multiple end finishes:
Plain End (PE)
- Suitable for welding or mechanical couplings
- Most common end finish for industrial stainless steel pipes
Threaded End
- Available with NPT or BSP threads
- Easy installation and maintenance
- Typically used for small-diameter stainless steel pipes
Flanged End
- Pipe ends welded with stainless steel flanges
- Allows quick installation and disassembly
- Suitable for pipeline systems requiring frequent inspection
Stainless Steel Conduit Pipe for Electrical Applications
SANVO also manufactures stainless steel conduit pipes designed specifically for electrical cable protection.
Our stainless steel conduit pipes offer:
- Excellent corrosion resistance for outdoor and harsh environments
- High mechanical strength to protect wiring systems
- Smooth internal surface for easy cable pulling
- Long service life compared to galvanized conduit pipes
Stainless steel conduit pipes are widely used in industrial plants, infrastructure projects, tunnels, and exposed electrical installations in Europe and North America.
Surface Finish & Customization Options
SANVO stainless steel pipes can be supplied with different surface treatments and custom services, including:
- Pickled & passivated finish
- Polished or brushed surface
- Custom lengths and cutting
- Special end processing based on project drawings
Stainless Steel Pipe Surface Finishes
- Polished Surface
Polished stainless steel pipes have a smooth and shiny finish, achieved through mechanical polishing or electro-polishing. This treatment not only enhances the pipe’s aesthetic appearance but also improves corrosion resistance and makes cleaning easier. Polished pipes are commonly used in food processing, pharmaceuticals, and decorative applications. - Non-Polished (Mill) Surface
Non-polished stainless steel pipes retain their original mill finish, providing a cost-effective option with a natural, matte look. While less visually reflective, mill-finished pipes maintain excellent corrosion resistance and are suitable for industrial, structural, and general-purpose applications.
Applications of SANVO Stainless Steel Pipes
SANVO stainless steel pipes are widely applied in:
- Industrial fluid and gas transportation
- Chemical and petrochemical processing
- Water supply and wastewater treatment
- Food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries
- Construction and structural systems
- Electrical conduit and cable protection
